I called the leasing office of the place my estranged wife and her bf have supposedly rented a place under an assumed name and they won't tell me. I told them the story and that i believe they obtained the lease using fake ID's and all they said is they will look in to it.

I have gone to the place on two occasions but no answer and couldn't see a thing. I was advised to stay away as she is crazy and violent and I could end up getting charged with something. I just want proof the two of them are living there and I want to nail them both for using fake ID's to get the place.

If you locate the owner, you can ask him or her. If it is recorded, your county clerk will have it. You probably can't unless you ask the property owner. Unless a lease is recorded somewhere accessible to the public (like a commercial lease) that information is typically private.

Why? Fuck 'em, live and let live. Move on.

You might be right. But you might be wrong.

Gotta be emotionally involved and know the harm before you can make this judgement.

I feel for anyone caught in this situation. The guy obviously feels very, very harmed.

Don't make your situation worse, Spartanfan. If they are renting with false IDs she must be a real loser. Good luck.

Understood. My suggestion is just that - only a suggestion - and comes from a place of personal experience.

Ha Ha! What is this pay phone thingy you talk of. Dont recall ever seeing one of those things.

Had not thought about it until now that you brought up pay phone. They make it tough if you want to make a call anonymously. in the old days checking up on a girlfriend or ordering a pizza for someone as a joke. Everything now can be traced. No woman is worth checking up on if you got to go to best buy and get a burner phone to make the call. Or i guess go to the airport pay to park your car and go inside to find a pay phone. Court house also has pay phones these days.
